SMITH, JACK STEVE, age 70 of Trussville, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray C. and Ethel Bailey Smith; and brother, Jerry Smith. He is survived by his brother, Orewyn “Auby” Smith; sisters, Martha Smith Kelly and Sherry Joan Hollingsworth; and several nieces and nephews. Steve retired from the Park and Recreational Board of Trussville where he cared for all the city ballfields. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 1-2 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
