Jackie Marie Cornelius, age 85 of Gardendale Died September 8, 2014. Jackie was a long time employee of Belk Corporation. A native of Kannapolis, North Carolina and resident of Gardendale for the last 20 years. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Marzetta and Robert Eston Cornelius, sister Diane Cornelius Foutz (F.L.), of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Great niece, Leah Ellen Marks, of Mountain Brook, AL. Survivors include niece Debbie Sims (John), great nieces Jennifer Carter (Justin), Lauren Dunn (Jamie), and great-great nieces Lannah Elizabeth Carter and Lily Ann Dunn. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 20,2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:00 am, Mass will be celebrated at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 11:00 am followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
