Jane was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama and was a respected artist. A graduate of Samford University with a degree in Art, she taught and sold art throughout the community. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral and served as president of the Philoptochos Society.
She is survived by her sister Helen Joyce Pihakis and leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.
A private service will be held October 31, 2024, at Holy Trinity Holy Cross Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral 307 19th Street South Birmingham, AL 35233.
