He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Temerson.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Temerson; his children, Tammy Love (David), Adrian Colquitt (Amy), Jesse Colquitt; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Samantha, Andrea, Savannah, and Jake; and many great-grandchildren.
A visitation for John will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
John will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery, 431 60th St N, Birmingham, Alabama 35212.
