BENNETT, JUDITH, age 77 of Trussville, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny McWhirter. She is survived by her son Leigh Bennett (Lauri); daughter, Tracy Miller (Neal); sister-in-law, Marie McWhirter; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several other extended family members. Judith was a member of Trussville Methodist Church and worked at St. Vincent’s East for the last 10 years. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 1-3 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 3 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to lung cancer research.
