Kathy was born in Birmingham, AL. on February 22, 1949. She was a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College. After college she touched many lives as an educator at various schools for many years and had a huge passion for helping children. There have been many who have grown up over the Years calling her "mama".
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Robert H. Vaughan III and Kathleen Avis Chandler Vaughan.
She is survived by her children; Vaughan Miller wife Vivien and their children Evan and Penelope Miller. Brandon Miller wife Jennifer and their children Ava and Wyatt Miller. Her sister Robbie Kepic.
There will be a Celebration of life 3:00 P.M. Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel the family will receive friends 1 hour prior.
