

Born on November 7, 1955, Kathy lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and quiet generosity. As a nurse, she devoted herself to caring for others with tenderness and professionalism, offering comfort in moments of need. Her deep commitment to helping people touched countless lives throughout her career.
At home, Kathy expressed her creativity and warmth through quilting. Her beautiful, handmade quilts were more than works of art—they were heartfelt gifts, stitched with love and patience, and shared with those she cherished most.
Kathy is survived by her sons, Jonathan and Chris(Kristen); her granddaughter, Callie; her brothers, Ricky(Kim) and Bobby(Barbara); her nieces, Savanna(Gray) and Samantha(Hunter); and her nephews, Blake, Patrick, and Billy.
A service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held on 7/20/25, visitation starts at 1 pm, service starts at 2 pm at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Friends and family are invited to attend and honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, if you choose, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kathy’s name to a nursing scholarship fund or a charity of your choice that reflects her spirit of care and kindness.
Kathy’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the warmth she gave, and the love she so freely shared.
