I lived in wylam from 1964 to 1967, Ms. Pitts was always in my memory as a child. I loved going to their store getting candy and drinks. RIP Ms. Pitts

I hate to mimic everyone...but she was a very sweet person..always greeting you as you came thru the door..condolences to the family  <3

Such a sweet lady!  Remember her well from Pitts Grocery.  Went there many times growing up in Wylam.  Prayers for the family, and may she rest in peace.

Mrs. Pitts was always so kind to me.  Every time I went to Pitts Grocery, she always made me feel special.  But then, she made everybody feel special with her big smile and warm welcome.  One day my mother told her I was at home sick, so she sent me a small, brown paper bag to encourage me. I was delighted to find several pieces of candy, a real treasure!  Her kindness meant a lot to me, even as a child. She was a beam of light in our neighborhood.  May her reward be great, for she is a precious lady!

She was a wonderful person! I remember her at their little store!She always had a smile and a kind word! I am so sorry for your loss!

The Pitts family are in my prayers. Many memories of the Pitts Grocery Store in Wylam. Such a wonderful and caring family. Bought many snacks there and really liked talking to them. God bless the Pitts family.
