Marilyn Joyce Mooney, age 84 of Pleasant Grove, AL went to meet her God and family on Friday, July 24th. Joyce and her deceased husband, Ruyal were faithful Christians, companions and singers together. Where one was, so was the other. She is predeceased by her husband, Ruyal of 56 years and infant daughter Cheryl. She is survived by three children, Diane Loftin (Steve), Wayne Mooney (Tammy), and Alan Mooney (Sandy). Grandchildren Kimberly, Jason, Christopher, Katie, Angie, and four great grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge the Homebound Program at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove and Alacare Hospice with a special nurse Stacey Hamer and special caregiver Lu Carter. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Funeral service for Joyce will be Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel.
