Mary Ann McGraw

November 27, 1933- July 21, 2019

Mary Ann McGraw, age 85, passed away after a brief illness on July 21, 2019. She was born November 27, 1933 in Trafford, Alabama, was a long-time resident of Minor Heights, Alabama and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. After working for a brief period of time, she devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother, then grandmother. She was so happy when she became a great-grandmother and was looking forward to two new great-granddaughters joining the family in early fall. Although a homebody, Mary Ann and her husband, Charles, traveled throughout all 50 states and several European countries.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William J. Adams and Annie Adams; siblings, Charles Adams, Robert Adams and Margaret Hays. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles McGraw; children, Pat McGraw, Doug (Terri) McGraw and Mike (Leslie) McGraw; grandchildren, Matt (Kathleen) McGraw, Spencer (Caitlin) McGraw, Tiffany (Josh) Tutolo, Mark (Kaitlin) McGraw, Jackson (Alison) Findlay, Abby Findlay and Austin Findlay; great-grandchildren, Adelynne Tutolo, Millie Tutolo, Beau Findlay and Wesley Findlay; sisters, Lillie Mae Crain, Peggy (Bob) Stelman and Sue (Jack) Norman; sisters-in-law, Doris Adams and Brenda Adams; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Pastor Steve Potts officiating.
