Mary Catherine Shader, the beloved mother of Karen, Stephen, Cathleen, Harold, and Judy, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2017. She was from Birmingham, Alabama and was eighty-four when she passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was the light, strength, and encourager that all of us needed, and inspired all of us to be. She loved dancing, animals, and high heels. Mary Catherine had eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Julie, Gregory, Katie, Harold, Warren, Sofia, Alexander, Lucia, and Avery. We were blessed to have Mary Catherine as our mother, grandmother, and friend. She taught us many valuable lessons; however the most important was to love unconditionally. Mary Catherine has many different names such as, Mom, Ma, M.C., and sister; however we now know that she is our beautiful angel. Visitation will be from 10-11a.m. on Monday February 6, 2017 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass following at 11a.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery
