Mike was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hueytown, where he gladly served His Lord and Savior faithfully. He was an animal lover, rescuing many. He never turned away a stray and that extended to people as well. He had a servant’s heart and would extend grace to those who needed 2nd chances. He would give to everyone he could, including jobs when none were to be found elsewhere. He loved music, singing, and dancing. Restoring classic cars and going to the shows to see them when he could. He was an avid coin and gun collector. He loved watching the garden grow. However, his biggest enjoyment came from his family, who he loved dearly.
Michael was a member of the NRA, several classic car organizations, Sons of the Confederacy, the Republican Party, and a big lover and supporter of President Donald J. Trump.
Michael had a heart for supporting many charities with is gifts of love, which is why his family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in his memory to the American Liver Foundation, www.liverfoundation.org.
