Nellie G. Ingram, age 97 of Birmingham passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Her husband, Newton “Red” Ingram preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara I. McCauley (Claude); grandchildren: Barbara Susie Collins, Benjamin Matthew Bennett (Pat), Lara Alvis (Barry) and Michelle McCauley; great grandchildren: Zach, Seth, Abbie, Mason, Marcus , Maggie and Barrett; great – great grandchildren: Connor, Mary Claire and Abel; brother, Roy Gage (Grace) and family. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
