Reginald Cortezs Hunter

Reginald Cortezs Hunter, age 35, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Reginald Cortezs Hunter was born September 4, 1985, in Birmingham, AL, to the parentage of Reginald Allen and Rosalind Davis Hunter Allen. He was loved by many friends and family. His formative years included much fellowship with his cousins under the tutelage of his maternal grandfather, Clinton Davis.

Reginald attended Fairfield Public City Schools. He was a student at Miles College and a member of their "Purple Marching Machine" where he played the sousaphone. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force and separated in the Spring of 2013. He married Andrea S. Jackson of Birmingham, AL, on October 21, 2017.

Reginald accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Unity and Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of Bishop O. L. Meadows where he was a member of the choir. He reaffirmed his faith in his latter years.

Reginald is survived by his mother, Rosalind Davis Hunter Allen of Birmingham, AL, father, Reginald Allen, his wife, Andrea S. Jackson Hunter, daughter, Khloe Jackson, son Reginald Jr. (Marcee Hill) sister, Melody McKeller, as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral with services in celebration of Reginald life on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral. Burial at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL
