Robert E. Bowden of Pell City and Birmingham, Alabama passed away May 24, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Anna, daughters Lisa Bowden of Savannah, GA and Erin (Troy) Ball of Helena, AL and Grandchildren Kelley Smith and Bryson Ball, and host of friend and relatives who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon “Granny” Bowden and Ruby Bowden and sister Linda Sanford.
Robert worked for Alabama Power Company for 38 years where he retired in April of 2004.
He loved to play softball and golf. He also loved the lake and the beach.
There will be a celebration of life 2 pm Wednesday May 27, 2015 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with a visitation 1 hour prior.
