Robert “Bob” Carl Snider, Jr. was called home to be with Jesus on September 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Carl Snider, Sr. and Susie M. Snider. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Brenda Keasler-Shortnacy, Aprill Snider Nease (Martin), and Kay Snider Owens (Bill); nieces and nephews, Jessica Hyche, John David Heeter, Elizabeth Heeter, Christine Heeter, Michael Heeter, Morgan Heeter, Emily Heeter, Mitchell Heeter, Adam Campbell, Christian Campbell, and Bryan Campbell; and several great nieces and nephews.
Bob was a life-long lover of art, woodwork, music, and especially his family and his many friends. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, he studied commercial art at Bessemer Technical College. He worked in this field for 25 years. In his later years, he became very involved with AA and was grateful to be in recovery for several years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his unique and loving personality.
A visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Elmwood Chapel at 1 pm with a celebration of Bob’s life to follow at 2pm.
