My twin brother Paul posted first about Roy. I endorse everything Paul said about Roy. Roy was always fun to be around. He was also kind, funny and upbeat. I wish Paul and I had been able to keep in touch with Roy after we graduated from grammar school with him. But our father’s job took us north to New York and  sadly we never saw him again. It is a tribute to Roy that knowing him all those years ago left such a strong impression on both Paul and me that we both have such strong and pleasant memories  of him all these years later. I was a fellow classmate of Roy's at Our Lady of Sorrows Grammar School in Homewood.  Roy was always kind and considerate and a real nice boy.  He would invite me to his home on Hollywood Blvd and I have fond memories of eating in the basement on hot summer evenings where the Gagliano family had a complete kitchen with picnic tables and benches.  As an Irish-American kid whose only exposure to Italian food was Chef Boyardee in the can, I was amazed at how good Italian food was as long as it was cooked by Mrs. Gagliano and the rest of the Gagliano family.  I also remember going downtown to visit Roy's dad who worked in the boy's department at Pizitz I think.  My condolences to the who Gagliano family.  RIP  Roy.     Sincerely,  Paul M.
