He joined the Army at an early age and then married Dorothy Knighton in April of 1956. They had 2 children, Kathy and Keith Knighton; one grandson, Jeremy Couch; and 2 grandchildren, Ryker and Jaxon Couch. He worked at Stockham Valve & Fitting for many years before his retirement. He was an all around handyman and loved working in his garage on different things. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He was very supportive of all his kid's and grandkid's hobbies, whether it was race cars, dune buggies, baseball, golf, or building "dangerous" ramps in our backyard for skateboarding and BMX stunts. He always went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
