Ruth Faught Reavis age 93, passed from this life on November 8, 2011. She was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church and former member of First Baptist Center Point for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bert Florence, her husband of 20 years, Wilson P. Faught, her husband of 38 years, John R. Reavis, her sister, Helen Benton, and brothers, J.B. Florence and Robert Florence. She is survived by daughters, Billie LeCroy (Jerry), Marcia McCord (Kermit), JoAnn Goldstein (Richard), step-sons, Reed Reavis (Charlotte), Allen Reavis (June), brother Namon Florence, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Thursday, November 10th at Elmwood Chapel and service to follow at 11am with Reverend Denis Tanner presiding. The family wishes to thank the assisted living staff at Kirkwood by The River.
