Scott Edward White, 57 passed away peacefully at his home in The Colony, Texas on March 3, 2023. Scott was born on March 29, 1965 in Grand Island, Nebraska. After living in several states in the U.S. and in England growing up, his family moved to Birmingham where he graduated from Berry High School, went on to play soccer for UAB for two years and met the love of his life Anne. Scott was an avid guitarist and also taught guitar. He loved soccer, skateboarding, disc golf and the beach. Scott is survived by his wife of 26 years, Anne and his son Zachary of The Colony, Texas; his parents, Dean and Yvonne White of Denton, Texas; his brother, Cary White (Colleen) of Carlsbad, California; his sister Christina “Chrissy” Dominguez (Alex) of Mérida, Mexico and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Scott will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211, followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery located at 600 Martin Luther King Dr. Birmingham, AL. 35211 at 11:30am.
