Sue was a resident of Hoover at the time of her death and was preceded in by her beloved husband Don (Bubba) Franklin after 41 years of marriage. After Bubba’s death she moved to Orlando to be with her daughter and grandson, returning to Alabama in 2006. She is survived by her beloved daughter Bridget and beloved grandson, Taylor, who was the love of her life as most of you know. Sue was the last of her siblings. Sue would like to thank Janet Barnes and the Barnes family as well as Barbara Tilelli and the Tilelli family for embracing her, Bridget and Taylor into their family. Sue retired from the Law Firm of Williams, Elliott and Edwards in Homewood after 30 plus years of service. She was an avid bowler and true and loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves. Sue was a member of Peace United Methodist Church in Orlando and also a faithful viewer of Joel Osteen. A private graveside service was held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. She wishes to leave a special message to all of you, especially her grandson Taylor.
I will remember you
Will you remember me
Don’t let your life pass by
Weep not for the memories
May God bless each of you.
