Vida Sue Pitts 74 went to be with her Lord on Wednesday February 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Pitts of 57 years, one brother, Ellis Elliott Harbin and his wife, Shirley. Sue is survived by one son, Robert Pitts, one daughter, Lisa Walden (Hal), two sisters, Paula Lowery (Max), Daphene Henderson, two brother-in-laws, Clifford Pitts (Madolyn), Douglas Butterworth, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be officiated by Dr. Ron Pate at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel, with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
