

Warren Earl Owens, II was born April 29, 1987, in Frankfurt, West Germany, to Warren and Sandra Owens. He departed this life on October 2, 2025. His last breath was taken at home, surrounded by family. He loved us just as much as we loved him, and he expressed it in many loving ways.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his loving memory, his parents, Warren and Sandra Owens; sisters, Tevora Peters and Latoya Owens, all of Madison and Huntsville, Alabama. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends, including one uncle and aunt, Michael and Vanessa Langford; two nephews, Justin Peters and Jamere Peters; one niece, Jayla Peters; and cousins, Wanda Smith, Essex Goodmon, Deatrus Goodmon, Filipe’ Cameron, Dannie Cameron, Eric Langford, and Marcus Langford.
Warren attended various schools in Alexandria, Virginia, including Riverside Elementary, Markham Elementary, Walt Whitman Middle School, and Mount Vernon High School. He was a highly accomplished athlete, lettering in two sports—football and lacrosse. He earned athletic scholarships to Mercyhurst Junior College and Marymount Junior College to play lacrosse.
Warren was also a skilled swimmer. He served as the lead lifeguard at the George Washington Recreation Center and eventually became one of its managers. He played pee wee baseball at third base and enjoyed cooking, preparing many delicious dishes for his family. He was very attentive to recipe guidelines and took pride in his culinary creations. Warren worked at Polaris as a material builder, installing doors on ATVs.

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum; all attending are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:45 pm at 800 Dennison Ave. SW, Birmingham, AL 35211 to process to the graveside.
The service is scheduled for October 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM
