

William W. Bridgeman, age 94, of Center Point, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. William was one of the strongest and most organized men known by his family. He achieved much during his life.
Among his accomplishments was his calling to serve his country as a member of the United States Air Force, serving and protecting The United States during the Korean War. He served his country faithfully and honorably until his honorable discharge. Golf was his favorite activity and his expertise was quite impressive being awarded numerous golf trophies as an avid golfer. He retained 6 or more holes in one upon teeing off in tournaments He played in.
The biggest accomplishment for which he was the most proud of was the forming of his loving family, that relied on his guidance and support throughout his life. He never let his family down in any way or form. He always made sure every member was taken care of, and never left wanting. Growing up in a large family, William understood the importance of a strong family bond among all.
Mr. Bridgeman is preceded in death by mother and father: Pearl and Benjamin Bridgeman and his wife Loretta Elwanda Bridgeman. He is also proceeded in death by his brother Benjamin Bridgeman, sisters Betty Butterworth, Rose Morrison, and Linda Kinney.
He is survived by his daughters and son Barbara Figueroa( Mario) Tia Burgos(Luis) and Donna Fox, Phillip Bridgeman(Ronda), with several grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel, with a small family gathering/service at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM. A committal Service will be held following services at Forest Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2:00PM
