HALE, WILLIAM THEO, age 85 of Birmingham, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aubrey Jean Cook Hale; parents, Baxter Alexander Hale and Mary Marie Kilpatrick Hale; brother, Albert F. “Bubba” Hale; and sister, Freida L. Bethune. He is survived by his sons, William Brett Hale (Tandi) and Darryl Jay Hale (Deanna); grandchildren, Parker Hale (Sarah Ann), Blake Hale, Allis Hale and Sarah Hale; and great-granddaughter, Charlie Hale. Theo graduated from Woodlawn High School and served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron Co. and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Theo was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifetime baseball fan having coached his sons in little league at Huffman and an avid Braves fan. His family will celebrate his life on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 2-3 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 3 PM.
