Chay,
I and Jimmy Hubbard are most distressed over losing such a wonderful friend.  Bill meant so much to Jim, Jimmy, and me.  He really helped Jimmy in pursuit of his career while at Alabama.  Bill was one who you always wanted on your side, and Jim Hubbard really appreciated him.  We will always smile thinking of Bill and I like to think Jim is in good company now.  I hope to see you sometime soon.

Dear Johnson Family,

Bill, Jr. and Krishna are very dear friends of ours.  We were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. William Frank Johnson, Sr.  With all of the kind words that have been expressed about him and the wonderful attributes that Bill, Jr. displays, we are certain that Bill, Sr. and all of who he was and what he represented will be missed.  In memory of him, a contribution will be made to the MBCC Building Fund.

Chay, I'm so very sorry to have missed Bill's memorial service this week. He was very special to David and I, especially after moving these Yankees to Memphis, TN in 2002 and "southernizing" our names to Jennie Mae and David Ray. He was a wonderful boss who taught me much. His retirement party in June 2006 was an event to remember for all of us.  He will be so missed! Please consider getting in touch during your next trip to Raleigh, NC. We'd love to see you! My dear Chay, Margaret Hubbard just called with the sad news about Bill. I am shocked and would have driven to Birmingham, had I known. Margaret and brother Dick just found out. Chay, my brother Tom died Sept 4 of brain Melanoma. As Jim Hubbard said tell the world I died of skin Cancer. Melanoma is dastardly and you and your family are in my heart. Please know how much I care. Right this minute words are not easy. I know all who knew Bill are so sad. I am proud of his kind deeds.

Chay and Julie we are so sorry for your loss and are praying for your family during this difficult time.  Bill was always good to us and I loved our conversations about hunting/fishing when he would stop by the office.  He will truly be missed.

Bill was such a wonderful help to me, and so many others, while I was on staff at Liberty Crossings UMC. A wealth of knowledge and "can do" spirit who was always there when he was needed. I'm grateful for the time I spent with him. God bless Chay and the rest of Bill's family and friends in this time.
