William H Keim III

KEIM, WILLIAM H. III “BILL”, age 81 of Trussville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Keim; son, William H. Keim, IV; and daughter, Toby Michelle Keim. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karan Walker Keim; daughter, Kelly Kendrick (Steve); sons, Todd Keim (Melanie) and Brad Keim (Karan); brother, Richard Keim (Terry); sister, Mary Pfister (Fred); grandchildren, Drew Kendrick, Lauren Keim, Lindsay Keim, Dave Kendrick, Luke Keim, Kayla Strickland (Noah) and Hunter Keim; and many other extended family and friends. Bill was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville and served as Scout Master of Troop 216 in Trussville and the Trussville Nursing Home Ministry for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The family gives special thanks to St. Vincent’s East Hospice especially Cynthia Ruffin, Victoria Craig and Mike Britton. His family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Saturday, February 13, 2016 beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Purpose Place, Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge or First Baptist Trussville.
