

Ada F. Bickmeier
Ada F. Bickmeier, age 95, of Bloomington , died Sunday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital . Born April 30, 1916 in Wheeling , West Virginia , she was the daughter of Victor Mathieu and Sara Margaret (Draher) Mathieu. A resident of Evansville for many years, she moved to Bloominton in 1962. A charter member of Faith Lutheran Church , she was a retired dental assistant. Her interests ranged from quilting and dominoes to her computer and reading. In her later years she developed her talent for oil painting and became a world traveler.
She is survived by her son, David Bickmeier (Ginna Paredes), of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a daughter, Carolyn Hinkle (Ronald R. Hinkle), of Roswell, Georgia; two grandchildren, Christopher Hinkle (Anky Chau) and Sara Hinkle; two great-grandchildren, Kai Hinkle and Maya Hinkle and several generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Bickmeier in 1989, as well as three sisters and one brother.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Faith Lutheran
Church with Rev. Lawrence Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens . Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington or at the church on Wednesday at 10 A.M.before the funeral.
Friends and family are invited for refreshments at the church after the internment.
