Born in Paoli, Indiana, Christian attended Indiana University of Bloomington where he studied Economics and began building the foundation of his life’s work and businesses, Southside Rental Center and Perfect Parties Tents and Events. Christian was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Christian’s greatest passion in life was his family and spending quality time with those he loved. He treasured vacations with family to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and took joy in coaching his children’s sports teams, tossing a ball with his grandchildren, and building memories that will be carried forward with love.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Judy Hoke; his children, Charles Ross Hoke of Bloomington, Taylor Christian Hoke of Carmel, and Sarah Jean Gamble (Josh) of Fishers; his cherished grandchildren, Cassius Hoke, Gage Hoke, and Emily Gamble; and his siblings, Rick Hoke, Kim Brown, and Linda Sinex.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his devotion to those he loved, and the joy he brought to every gathering.
Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
