Dolores Marie Brock

Dolores Marie Brock, age 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bloomington, died Saturday at her residence. She was born August 13, 1947 in Wunsiedel, Germany, the daughter of Archie Edwards and Marie (Pscherer) Fillingham. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, both in Bloomington.

She is survived by her three children; James (Joan) Brock, of Gilbert, AZ, Karen Brock, of Indianapolis and Ronald Brock, of Indianapolis formerly of Bloomington, her mother, Marie Fillingham, of Alabama; two sisters; Ruth Gibson, of Tennessee and Barbara Wiggins, of Alabama; one brother, David Fillingham, of Alabama; three grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew) Seib, of Indianapolis, Jami Lynn(Jonathan) Olsen, of Denver, CO and Jennifer (Brandon)Bowlin, of Claremore, OK and three great-grandchildren, Judah Bowlin, Grace Ruby Bowlin and Charlotte Seib.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Burdette Brock, in 2006 and her father.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Day and Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
