Don L. Bounds

Don L. Bounds, age 66, of Bloomington, died Wednesday afternoon in Marshall County, Kentucky. Born February 16, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was the son of Floyd and Lora (Emerson) Bounds. He was a loving husband, father and “Poppy” (grandpa). He was the former co-owner of Bounds & McPike Flooring. His main focus in life was family and serving the Lord at the Lake Monroe Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters Marlie (Rick) Frye, of Bloomington and Mindy Bounds of Bloomington; one son, Kelsie (Marilyn) Bounds, of Eddy, Texas; two grandsons, Kaden Bounds and Eli Bounds; and two brothers, Mackie (Norman Jean) Bounds of Axtell, Texas and Mark (Diane) Bounds of Austin Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Teresa Bounds, his parents and one brother, Frank Bounds.

There will be a graveside service at Clover Hill Cemetery on Saturday 10:00 a.m. with brother Randy Deems and brother Raymond Stiner officiating. Friends may visit the family Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401 on Friday from 4:00-8:00p.m.
