

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, Joe Fenton, loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew, passed away at the age of 38 in a tragic accident. Joe will be eternally remembered by his wife and best friend Carrie, and their precious children, Henry (age 2) and Mavis (age one month). Joe will be sadly missed by his parents John and Monica (Kelley) Fenton, his grandparents, Robert and Louise Fenton, his sisters Hannah (Jeremy) Christopher and Kate (Matt) Service, brothers-in-law DC Sare, Dan (Amy) Turner, John (Susan) Sare, Tad (Aki) Sare, Mike (Beth) Hull, Nate (Elaina) Hull, sister-in-law Tamara (Alex) Rosenthal and father-in-law David (Jennifer) Sare. Joe will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, numerous extended family and dear friends.
A native of Bloomington, Joe attended Indiana University, graduating with a degree in Communications. Joe and his family attend Trader’s Point Christian Church and will be forever remembered by his life group near Fishers. We were all blessed to know Joe with his passion for the cabin, music, books, zest for life and love of conversation. Joe had a huge heart and a warm hug. More than anything, we will miss watching him enjoy raising his kids and loving his wife.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Calling and funeral will be at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington IN. Calling will be from 9-11 am with the service at 11 am.
