Judith “Judy” Eileen Jefferson, 74, a lifetime resident of Bloomington, IN passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born February 2, 1939 the daughter of the late Cornelius Jesse Salee and Dorothy Marie Salee.
Judy was an avid reader. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Wayne) Moore of Eminence, IN; her son, Steve Bryant of Bloomington, IN; her two brothers, Donald (Bonnie) Salee of Malabar, FL and Ronald (Voni) Salee of Mt. Vernon, IN; her sister, Evelyn “Lyn” (Dave) Amolsch of Milford, MI; four grandchildren, Stefanie Bryant, Tom Gilliland, Austin Bryant, and Jesse Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Trey and Nevaeh Gilliland; thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty five great nieces and nephews; and seventeen great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Day Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Scott Salee. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
