

Katherine Ann Harden, age 74, of Bloomington, died Monday at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born April 18, 1941 in London, KY, she was the daughter of Jefferson T. and Eliza (Shelton) McQueen. She was a homemaker and her life revolved around her family. She enjoyed crafts, especially making key chains and dream catchers. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons; Edward (Rachel) Harden, Herbert (Bobbi) Harden and Jeff (Julia) Harden, all of Bloomington; daughters, Eulene Harden and Diane (Adam) Minnick, both of Bloomington and Dina (Walter) Spack, of Hermiston, OR; 22 grandchildren, Brandon, Jessy James (Cassy), Christopher, Derek, Steven, Michelle, Jacob, Emily, Hailey, Joshua, Lelan, Ricky, Kristy, Nathan, Kayden, Michael, Amber, Amy, Jamie, Conner, Bentley and Brayden; 26 great-grandchilden, one brother, Jefferson “Brownie” McQueen, of Bloomington, one sister, Florence McQueen James, of London, KY; four nieces, Mary Sexton, Charlotte James, Vickie Robinson and Nina James and two nephews, Ronnie James and Ernie James.. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herbert Eugene Harden, granddaughter, Cassandra, grandson, Brandon, one step-daughter, Thelma Harden; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Buck Maulden and 11 brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Pastor Rick Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
