Kenneth Paul Stuart

Kenneth Paul Stuart, age 83, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born August 27, 1938 in Bloomington, he was the son of Paul Newton and Helen (Gillman) Stuart. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army and worked as a draftsman for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis, instrumental in missile design. He later became a commercial and private home builder in the Bloomington area. He was a member of the Indiana University President’s Circle and the Arbutus Society and was a large donor to the I.U. School of Medicine. Kenneth was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church and attended Simpson Chapel United Methodist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Jimmy Lou “Sunny” (Shannon) Stuart, of Bloomington, step-son and his wife, Sam and Joyce Kramer and their children, Sammy, Kara and Joshua, step-son and his wife, Paul and Lisa Kramer and their children, Clayton and Ashley and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and one sister at birth.

There are no services at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date at Simpson Chapel United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be given to I.U. Health; Riley Children’s Hospital or to the Bloomington Humane Association.
