Kirk Judson Markey, age 51, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Bloomington. Born June 5, 1970 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Thomas and Judith Markey. Kirk was a self-employed writer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Farnsworth) Markey, of Bloomington, his mother, Judith Koglin, of Indianapolis; two brothers, Wade (Amy) Markey (daughter, Leah) and Chris (Dawn) Hamilton (daughter, Brooke); two sisters, Deb Rockwell (husband, Rick Rehmer) and Karen Abbett, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Schneff and Ruth B. (Farnsworth) (Kyle) Robinson (sons, Ascher Farnsworth, Tatum Robinson and Calvin Robinson), mother-in-law, Judith Noyes-Farnsworth, niece, Leslie Markey and his three pets, Louie, Marlo and Sam.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Thomas Markey.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Young Pavilion in Olcott Park in Bloomington.
