

Margaret Lucille Dean Miller, age 96, of Bloomington, died Sunday afternoon at the Meadowood Health Pavilion in Bloomington. She was born July 10, 1915 in Opp, Alabama. The loving and dedicated wife to her husband, R. Adm. Henry Louis Miller, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed crochet and needlepoint work. She earned a degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of music and played the organ for church services. Her travels as a Navy wife took her to Tokyo and Hong Kong, in addition to family tours of duty in Honolulu; Coronado, California; Alameda, California; the Washington, D.C. area, and Patuxent Naval Air Station.
She is survived by her two sons; Richard Miller (Barbara Klinger), of Bloomington and Hank Miller, Jr. of Greenbrae, California and two grandchildren, Kimberly Miller and Matthew Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Evelyn Rue.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. Burial of her cremated remains will be by her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Staff Appreciation Fund at Meadowood Retirement Community Office; 2455 Tamarack Trail; Bloomington, IN 47408
