Mary K. Elmore, 82 AUG. 24, 1930 — JAN. 6, 2013 INDIANAPOLIS — Mary Kathryn Elmore, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born August 24, 1930, in Bloomington, IN, to the late Charles and Rose Neal Walden. She was preceded in death by sisters, Harriet Walden, Marjorie Tincher, Martha Chambers; brother, Joe Walden; daughter, Ellen Marie Kelly; grandson, Michael Sommers; and granddaughter, Rhonda Fisk. Mary is survived by sisters, Norma Alpine, Janet Dalton (William); sons, Lawrence Shane Clark (Rayna), P. Bradley Lennon (Anne), Robert Scott Lennon (Christine), Brian Alan Lennon, Charles Dennis Lennon; stepsons, Patrick and Michael Elmore; stepdaughter, Kelly Goshorn: and 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews as well. A lifelong homemaker, Mary was dearly loved by her family and friends who will remember her fondly each day and every tomorrow. We will remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, knowing she’s gone to rest for a little while. She lived life to its fullest and tackled all its challenges with grace and dignity. Visitation for Mary will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10th, in Bloomington, IN, at the Day Funeral Home, 4150 E. 3rd Street, with services to follow at noon. Burial will in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.
