Peggy Sue Robertson 76, of Bloomington lost her battle with cancer Monday, August 12th at the Hospice House with her children by her side. She was born on November 6, 1942 at her home in Brown County. She was the daughter of the late Russell Thickstun and Virginia (Wall) Thickstun of Nashville, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dean Robertson and sister, Alice Stines of Columbus. She is survived by her sister, Mary Joan Dewar and brother Leon Thickstun both of Nashville, Indiana. Her daughter Stephanie Powers (Kerry Powers) and son Gary "Rusty" Robertson (Jacqueline) both of Bloomington. Her Grandchildren, James Dean "JD" Robertson, Mitchell Gary Robertson and Lindsey Sue Powers. Peggy has been a long time realtor in Bloomington owning Morrow Realtors for the past 32 years and had been awarded the Distinguished Years of Service Award by the Bloomington Board of Realtors. She was a founding member of the Bloomington Chapter of Women's Council of Realtors where she served as President for two years. She was elected to serve as Secretary for the Indiana State Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors and served many years on the Professional Standards Committee in several capacities as well as on the Bloomington Board of Realtors Professional Standards Committee. Prior to becoming a full time realtor she was a retiree from the Kroger food stores. There will be a visitation for family and friends beginning at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th and Memorial Service on Friday at 11 a.m. with a gathering of friends and family following in the reception hall at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington, IN.
