

Richard D. “Dick” Huddleston, 87, of Bloomington passed away in his home Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was born November 11, 1936 in Indianapolis to Ray Huddleston and Julia Brezco Huddleston. He had been a Custodian at the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include step daughters, Patty Allen and Lana (Kirby Apathy) Allen; a son, Roger (Tami) Allen; grandchildren, Brad Allen, Daiquiri (Melissa) Davis, Patti (Scott) Fiscus, Jason Allen, Steve (Ashley) Davidson, Chad (Adriah Cain) Allen and Kassi Owens; and great grandchildren Mason Fiscus, Brady Perry, Ryan Kissel, Adeline Davidson, Savannah Davidson, Preslee Davidson, Ryder Davidson, Reid Owens, Parker Owens and Adlee Dawn Allen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janet Huddleston; two brothers, Herbert and Jerry Huddleston; and two grandchildren, Heather Dawn Allen and Coty Davidson.
Richard was of the Pentecostal Faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, working on his truck, cooking, traveling, helping people and was quite the handyman who could fix anything.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 East Third Street, with Pastor Ron Sutherlin officiating, burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors prior to services from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
