Roger Dale Cole, age 66, of Springville, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Roger was born on June 30, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the owner and operator of R.C.’s Fire Truck Repair Service. In his spare time Roger loved to golf with his buddies and repair golf clubs. He also loved to build about anything he could put his mind to. He loved to play music at his church, Calvary Baptist Church near Springville as he played bass guitar.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Carmella (Vandergrift) Cole, his three sons, Roger Dale Cole II and David Phares and Robert Phares, one brother, two sisters, eighteen grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Cole and Virginia (Humes) Cole Haney, two brothers and his daughter, Lisa Hodge, which he has fondly been re-united with.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church near Springville with Rev. Mark Hafenbreidel officiating. Friends may visit the family at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
