

Teresa M. Bounds, age 63, of Bloomington, died Sunday afternoon at her residence after an extended illness. Born December 9, 1949 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Eli Warren and Phyllis (Crum) McPike. She was a 1968 graduate of Smithville High School and a loving wife, mother and grandma. Her main focus in life was family and serving the Lord at the Lake Monroe Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Don Bounds, of Bloomington. They were married April 17, 1969. She is also survived by her two daughters, Marlie (Rick) Frye, of Bloomington and Mindy Bounds, of Bloomington; one son Kelsie (Marilyn) Bounds, of Eddy, Texas; two grandsons, Kaden Bounds and Eli Bounds and one sister, Marnise (Dennis) Miller of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Khiva Kniffen.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Day Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Raymond Stiner and Bro. Clark Carlo officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
