I worked with Betty for many years at St. Paul Insurance Co., she was "our" human resource manager.  I was not aware until today of Betty's passing.  I know that she had a large extended family that she loved and was very involved with many of them on a regular basis.  We had not been in contact for several years, but I will miss my friend who often brought me flowers from her garden and starts of flowers that still grow in my garden.  We would exchange stories of our backgrounds and families - always a delight!  My sincere condolences to the family.
