Family get together a few months ago in 2024. 
Dim Sum lunch organized by Helen Ma. 

Bok Lam looked good, I haven’t seen him in a few years. 

Bok Lams’ wife sitting is next to him , sister Helen (standing), mother in law to the extreme left (standing) , brother in law to the right and cousin Linda between Bok Lam and the mother in law. 
I’m sorry, but Bok Lam relatives names (mother in law, brother in law and wife) escape me. My sincere apologies.

I am so sorry to hear of Cousin Bok Lam’s passing. 
Bok Lam was my cousin, my dad’s eldest brother (Ah Bok) no. 2 son. 
After Ah Bok passed in 1967, my dad, Ma Lai Dao (Moo Min Mar) did everything he could to bring his brothers family over to the “Gold Mountain” ( the United States). 
Bok Lam got to the USA first. This was a long journey via Columbia, South America, then to Vancouver, Canada then to Arlington, WA as a specialized cook. This was in the early 1970s.

I am very sad to hear of your demise cousin Bok Lam. 
I did not know you were very sick.  You were part of my dad’s family. 
Rest in Peace cousin.
