It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deanna Rose Axley. Dee passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, surrounded by love. A person of deep compassion and selflessness, Dee lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and an unwaveringly positive spirit.
Dee had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her faith was a guiding light, shaping the way she loved, served, and faced life’s challenges with grace and hope.
As a dedicated pediatric nurse, Dee cared for children and families with extraordinary tenderness and patience. Through gentle hands, comforting words, and a calm presence, she brought reassurance and hope to countless families.
Guided by a strong and steady faith, Dee faced life with grace, optimism, and trust. An adventurous soul, she found joy in both grand experiences and life’s quiet moments. She loved tending to her magnificent garden, where patience and care brought beauty to life. Dee also cherished time at the beach, where the rhythm of the waves offered peace and connection with God. As a devoted reader, she found inspiration and comfort in books and was always eager to learn and reflect.
Above all else, Dee treasured family and friends and delighted deeply in the joys of being a grandmother. Time spent with family – filled with laughter, stories, and love – was among her greatest blessings and proudest joys. Her love was steady, generous, and deeply felt by all who knew her.
Dee’s legacy will live on through her husband Bob, daughters Megan, Rachel, and Amy, and her grandchildren Colton, Nolan, Emmett, and Elyse. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and love will continue to grow in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Dee will be missed and forever remembered.
The funeral mass for Dee will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Snohomish on January 23rd at 11:00am. A rosary will take place immediately before mass at 10:30am.
