Vicki grew up in Seattle, Medina, and Honolulu. She went to Bellevue High School. While at the University of Washington, she met Robert Williamson at Haggett Hall, their dormitory on campus. They were married on July 24, 1968. Vicki became a homemaker for a number of years, raising two sons, Brian and Ross. She did clerical work at St. Thomas Church in Medina, and later returned to school to complete her degree and become a paralegal. She worked at several firms in Seattle and Bellevue. After recovering from an aneurysm in 1992, she frequently volunteered at the food bank.
Vicki firmly believed in the principles of peace and justice and the spirit of all living things. She cared for many stray or injured animals (and people!) over the years. She fed the birds and had ongoing relationships with flocks of ravens and mourning doves. And she doted on her pets, including Toby, Tigger, and Nigel.
Vicki is survived by her husband Robert, sons Brian and Ross, and grandchildren, Isobel, Finian, Makenzie, and Gavin, and half-siblings by birth, Sandra Armstrong and Jim Armstrong.
Victoria Lee Williamson was born April 16, 1947, in Seattle. Her adopted parents were Verona Grace Clarke and John Parkinson.
There will be a funeral service to celebrate her life at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, on Sunday, April 27, at 1:00 pm. Her ashes will be interred in the columbarium at St. Thomas.
