David Lee Larson

Larson, David L., age 78, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025. He was a graduate of South High School in Denver, 1965, a graduate of the University of Denver and received a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Colorado.

David retired from the State of Colorado as an economist. He was an avid skier and sports enthusiast. A loyal Bronco's football fan, and adrenaline rush seeker.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings especially football scrimmages with the family before Bronco games on Sunday. David possessed a special talent that always incorporated adventure wherever we went or whatever we did.

David attended Flatirons Community Church with his wife where he loved listening to the praise hymns and The Word.

Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy Larson, and brother, Stanley W. Larson. He is survived by his brother, Donelly T and his wife Judith L; his wife of 52 years, Joanie M.; daughter, Noelle Tallman and her husband Richard Joseph; son, David Brian Larson and his wife, Jessica L.; three grandsons, Crew, Jaden and Wilder; 2 granddaughters, Esme and Declyn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a private Memorial on September 14th to celebrate his new adventure with The Lord.
