Diana L. Arroyo, passed away September 30, 2018 in Boulder, Colorado. She was born in Chandler, Colorado on June 8, 1932 to Candido and Grace (Lave) Fernandez. Diana married Patrick Arroyo in Frederic, Colorado on June 24, 1951. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Candido and husband, Patrick Arroyo. She is survived by her children; Patrick Arroyo, Lucas Arroyo, Candace Arroyo de Walker and Linda Arroyo-Holmstrom, her siblings; Rudy Fernandez and Delano Fernandez, Grandchildren; Daniel Walker, Joe Ben Walker, Sonia Holmstrom, Stephanie Holmstrom, Micaela Arroyo and Maddie Arroyo, and Great Grandchildren, Logan Walker, Elias Walker and James Washington Walker.
Her life example was; the power of love and goodness and how it affected the many lives she touched. We were blessed by her resourcefulness and the many valuable lessons during her 86 years. Among her lessons was her advice on gift giving; “Cash is the right size, the right color and you don’t have to exchange it.” She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Our earth angel is now a Heavenly angel. Bless your heart, mother.
Services for Diana will be held at Crist Mortuary on Sunday October 7, 2018. Visitation will be held at 11am with her funeral service to follow at 1pm. Diana will then be placed at Mt. View Memorial Park for interment. A reception will follow the graveside service at Crist Mortuary.
