On Sunday, April 9th, Gloria Schwartz passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Bernie, and her two children, Steven and Susan. She is also loved by her five grandchildren, Marissa, Jason, Jonathan, Alex, and Sarah. Her first great-grandchild, James, was born just a few hours after Gloria passed.
Gloria was born in New York, where she worked with children much of her life; first as an elementary school teacher, and then as an administrator at Rosa Lee Young Daycare Center. She also enjoyed giving back to her community with her volunteer work at the Cerebral Palsy Center. Gloria and Bernie enjoyed their many travels and their retirement to Boynton Beach, Florida prior to moving to Boulder, Colorado.
Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, April 20th at 10:30am.
