Helen Mae Stanley of Erie, CO formerly of Boulder passed away Saturday March 9, 2019 in Erie. She was born December 18, 1919 in Mansfield, Ohio to Joseph Renard and Agnes Ann (Leisure) Tomlin. Helen attended the University of Michigan and Jewish Hospital School of Nursing. She married Morris Jehu Stanley on May 29, 1942 at the Episcopal Chapel in Cincinnati, Ohio. Helen was a member of the Eastern Star for over 75 years. She loved traveling the world, animals, playing cards, and being with family and friends. Helen is survived by her children; Sharon (Roger) Olander, Mike (deceased) Susan Stanley, Sande (Joe- Deceased) Zado (Dan Chapman). Grandchildren Daryl (Julie) Olander, Natalie (Mori) Batagva, Stacee (Mike) Larimore, Justin (Kristy) Zado, Cynthia (Peter) Gagen, and Scott (Malu) Stanley. Great Grandchildren; Elijah and Hannah Larimore, Collins Zado, Alex and Ethan Olander, Donovan and Chloe Gagen. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband and her son. Funeral services will be held 10 am Monday March 18, 2019 at Crist Mortuary 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder, CO. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park 3016 Kalmia Ave., Boulder, CO
